Arab East Colleges has released the 75th issue of its university newspaper, Ishraqah, featuring extensive coverage of the most prominent academic and intellectual activities hosted by the Colleges recently, alongside highlighting specialized initiatives that support scientific and research excellence.
The issue leads with the announcement of the call for nominations for the 3rd cycle of the Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Faisal Award for Excellence in Accounting. This award continues a motivational approach that supports academic and professional excellence in the fields of accounting and auditing. The report details the categories, nomination criteria, rewards, and application mechanisms, noting that the award is held under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Faisal and the supervision of His Excellency Professor Dr. Saeed bin Turki Al-Mallah.
The issue also highlights the appointment of Professor Dr. Abdullah bin Salman Al-Salman to the Arab East Colleges, reviewing his leadership career at King Saud University and his role in major transformational projects, emphasizing how his joining supports the Colleges' academic excellence. Furthermore, the issue provides extensive coverage of a lecture on the values of tolerance and coexistence delivered by Professor Dr. Abdullah Al-Fozan, who stressed the Kingdom's pioneering role in consolidating a culture of moderation. It also includes a report on the Vision Forum organized by the Colleges to enhance engagement with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Ishraqah dedicated significant space to cover the Conference on Legal Governance of Board of Directors' Activities, organized by the Faculty of Law in partnership with the Riyadh Chamber, which saw a notable attendance of specialists and experts.
Additionally, the issue contains several studies and research papers by postgraduate students, along with cultural reviews and readings of recent publications. It concludes with a poem titled "A Remote Lecture Between a Father and His Son" by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Faisal, which elegantly reflects the reality of modern education and distance learning.
With this release, Ishraqah reaffirms its commitment to its media mission as a university platform documenting the scientific and cultural movement at Arab East Colleges and strengthening its presence within the national academic landscape.
