Student regulations

The regulation governing postgraduate studies aims to organise graduate studies in universities to raise their efficiency and quality, and the executive rules determine the requirements and conditions of admission, fees, registration, grades, postponement, withdrawal and interruption, in addition to the conditions of discussion, committees and the conditions for the equivalence of courses. The executive rules vary slightly from one university to another, but they generally follow the general principles adopted in the standardised regulations for graduate studies in Saudi universities.

• The study and examination regulations for the undergraduate level and the executive rules of the Arab East Colleges are the basic regulatory reference that regulates the academic process of male and female students from their enrolment in colleges until their graduation. This regulation has been prepared in accordance with the rules and regulations adopted in the Ministry of Education, taking into account the privacy of the academic environment of the colleges and their needs.
• The regulation aims to establish a comprehensive and clear framework for the educational process, including admission and enrolment, the study system, student evaluation mechanisms, tests, estimates, and transfer, in addition to graduation controls. The executive rules associated with them also specify the detailed mechanisms and procedures for the application of the articles of the Regulation on the ground, in order to ensure fairness and transparency, and unify academic practises between the various colleges and departments. Thus, this regulation represents an organisational and procedural tool that contributes to raising the efficiency of the educational process, achieving academic quality, and providing a balanced educational environment that helps students achieve their scientific goals in line with the mission and objectives of the Arab East Colleges and the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

• The university student list: rights and duties is an organisational framework that explains the rights and duties determined for students during their academic career in colleges. This regulation aims to promote a safe and organised learning environment that guarantees the rights of students and clarifies their responsibilities, contributing to achieving academic integrity, respect for university values, and promoting commitment to sound academic and social behaviours.
• The regulation includes clarifying students' academic and administrative rights, such as obtaining quality education, fair evaluation, and participating in university activities. It also defines the basic duties of students, including compliance with university laws and regulations, respect for the rights of others, and preservation of university property, while supporting the spirit of cooperation and discipline that contributes to the achievement of the university's objectives and educational mission.
