Acceptance

Are the college programs accredited by the Ministry of Educationand classified by the Ministry of Human Resources?

Yes, they are accredited by the Ministry of Education, classified by the Ministry of Human Resources, and have obtained institutional accreditation from the Education Evaluation Commission and other bodies.

Are classes in the morning or evening at colleges?

Depending on the academic calendar, undergraduate studies are usually held in the morning, while master's studies are usually held in the evening.

Are non-Saudi students accepted?

Yes, non-Saudi students are accepted.

Are associate degree graduates accepted into master's programs?

Yes, graduates are accepted into master's programs provided that their grades are good or higher.

I am a qualified applicant from outside Saudi Arabia. Can I be admitted to colleges?

Yes, high school graduates from outside Saudi Arabia are accepted after completing the necessary approvals and equivalencies from the Ministry of Education.

Are college courses taught in Arabic or English?

All majors are taught in Arabic, except for Computer Science and Information Technology, which are taught in English.

How do I get the major I want to enroll in?

Study plans are available on the colleges' websites.

Are there any administrative fees (registration) and when are they paid?

Yes, there is a fee of 500 riyals, which is paid upon application.

Is it necessary to have a bachelor's degree in education to be accepted into educational master's programs?

Yes, this is required, and the faculty council may not be exempted from this.

Is it necessary to have a bachelor's degree in law to be accepted into a master's program in law?

Students are accepted directly into the Master of Law program if they hold a bachelor's degree in law, Sharia law and regulations, or equivalent. Students from other disciplines are also accepted into the Master of Law program, provided they pass the supplementary semester.

I have been sent to study at college by my employer. How do I apply?

Apply through the admissions portal. After getting accepted, you should check with the admissions and registration department at the colleges to complete the admission requirements and verify your documents.

I am a student from outside the colleges and would like to study a course at the colleges as a visiting student.

Yes, colleges have a visiting student system.

How do I upload documents via the admission portal?

Undergraduate students: Not required.

 

Undergraduate graduates for more than 5 years: Must review admission and registration requirements for colleges.

 

Bridge program and graduate students: Documents must be uploaded through the admission portal, one document at a time.

Registration

I am a new student. How do I add my schedule?

New student schedules are added directly from admissions and registration, and students are not required to take any action.

I have paid the registration and tuition fees. How do I upload the receipt?

If payment is made through (Saddad), (Apple Pay), or (Direct Payment) at the colleges, no receipt needs to be submitted.

 

If payment is made through bank transfer to the colleges' account, the receipt must be attached through the fee payment service via the portal.

A graduate with a diploma in one of the branches of management. Is it possible to bridge into a specialization in business administration, project management, or financial management?

Yes, holders of a two-year diploma in one of the branches of management can apply for diploma equivalence and complete their studies for a bachelor's degree through a bridging programme in business administration, project management or financial management.

Graduate with a diploma in one of the specialisations of information technology or computer science Is it possible to bridge into a specialisation in information technology or computer science?

Yes, holders of a two-year diploma in one of the computer science and information technology specialisations can apply for diploma equivalence and complete their bachelor's degree through the bridging programme in information technology and computer science in its various tracks.

How long does it take to study bridging courses in management and its branches, computer science, and law?

In management and computer science majors, students need five semesters, and in law majors, students need four semesters.

Are the fees paid in one lump sum or in instalments?

Tuition fees are paid in a single instalment by paying the full amount for the semester, or in affordable instalments through Maslak Educational and Jil Pay.

Is payment available through points of sale and Visa, or is it by transfer?

All are available.

Are holders of intermediate diplomas from private universities or institutes accepted into bridging programmes?

No, it is not acceptable, as the condition for admission to the bridging programme is that the student must have obtained a diploma from a state university.

How does a new student obtain their university email address?

New students will receive an explanatory letter after their acceptance.

Are there doctoral programmes in colleges?

Currently, there are no doctoral programmes in the faculties, but soon, God willing.

Supplementary semester

What is a supplementary term?

It is a one-semester course that qualifies applicants who do not hold a degree in law, rights, Sharia, or equivalent to enrol in the Master of Law programme. It consists of 15 academic hours. Students must pass all supplementary courses and obtain a grade point average of at least 2.75 out of 4. These grades are not included in the student's cumulative grade point average for the master's programme.
