Library Services

Reference and guidance service:

The library provides reference and guidance services to pioneers in the library through:

Receiving and responding to beneficiaries' inquiries.

Guide library visitors to the available information vessels and introduce how to use and access it.

Assisting researchers in searching for different information vessels through the automated system of the college library.

Providing training courses for beneficiaries on how to use the library, the automated system and databases of the library.

Lending service:

The service of lending and returning books and various information sources is provided to college employees from students, faculty members and staff, as well as researchers from non-college employees, and providing release for college employees.

References and collections service that are not allowed to be loaned:

The service of materials that are not allowed to be lented is provided to the beneficiaries in the library directly from reference information sources such as: knowledge circles, dictionaries, dictionaries, maps, otlases, manuals, manuscripts, documents and rarities., paperless materials (audio and visual, film miniatures, CD) ...

Ongoing briefing service:

The ongoing briefing service is an information service provided by the library to inform patrons of the latest sources and new publications that have reached the library, in order to follow up scientific and intellectual developments in their areas of interest. This service is provided through various methods such as Eshraqa newspaper on the colleges website, college text messages, email, printed bulletins, display screens or bulletin boards, to enable beneficiaries to track the latest sources, research and discoveries.

Selective information broadcasting service:

The selective information broadcasting service is a service provided by the college library to deliver information related to the interests of each beneficiary personally, without the need for the beneficiary to request it himself. The service depends on identifying the interests of the beneficiary (such as research topics, instructions for printing letters and projects, theses guide or the field of specialisation) and sending relevant bulletins and updates directly via Eshraqa newspaper, text messages, email or other messages.

Saudi Digital Library Rules Service:

The library of the Arab East Colleges participated in the Saudi Digital Library (SDL) bases

It consists of:

(Edusearch) Educational Sciences Database)

- Information bases in economics and management (Ecolininfo)

- Databases in Islamic and legal sciences (isiamicinfo)

All of them provide the full text of sources from journals - references - articles - university theses - conference research - scientific seminars - book presentations.
