General conditions for admission to colleges

The student applying for admission to the master's program is required to have a bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised university with at least a very good grade, and those who have a good grade may be accepted, provided that the student's rate in the specialisation courses is not less than very good. And to be of good character and conduct and medically fit. The College Council (on the recommendation of the Department Council) may add other conditions that it deems necessary. The student may be admitted to a non-undergraduate specialisation upon the recommendation of the Department Council according to the conditions set for this purpose. The competent department may require the student to accept the master's stage to pass a number of supplementary courses from the previous stage, taking into account the following:

The duration of the supplementary courses should not exceed two semesters. Passing the supplementary course the first time with a grade of at least good.

His cumulative average in supplementary courses should not be less than very good.

Registration in the graduate program is only after passing the supplementary courses, and the department may authorise enrolment in postgraduate courses if only one of the supplementary courses remains.

The supplementary time period is not counted within the specified period to obtain the degree

Admission to the following specializations requires a relevant academic background (an extension of the major): Accounting, Computer Science, Special Education, and Early Childhood.

For admission to the Law specialization, the applicant must either hold a bachelor's degree in Law or Sharia (Islamic Law), or successfully complete a semester of supplementary courses

Documents required to enrol in the graduate program

A copy of the civil status card, family or residence card, with the original later for matching

A true copy of the bachelor's graduation document.

A true copy of the academic record of the bachelor's degree.

Master's study system
  • Courses and the letter.
  • Courses in some disciplines of a professional nature, including a research project calculated in at least three units.
  • The school year is divided into two main semesters, each of which lasts not less than fifteen weeks, including enrolment and tests, and a summer semester of not less than eight weeks, during which the duration allocated for each course is doubled.
  • The study in some programs may be on the basis of the full academic year in accordance with the rules and procedures approved by the Board of Trustees in a manner that does not contradict the provisions of this Regulation
Graduation requirements and academic degree

Students may only graduate after completing the degree requirements and achieving a cumulative grade point average of at least ‘good.’(1.75 out of 4 )
