The course aims to explain concepts, methods, and skills necessary to develop business information systems. Subjects covered are: environment of systems development, systems planning and selection, identifying systems requirements, process modeling, conceptual data modeling, designing strategy, designing user interface, designing databases, and systems performance and operation. Students will be divided into teams and each team will be asked to apply various activities of analysis and designing stages of an information system to a specific business selected by the team.
