Course Brief Description:
In this course, the student deals with the following topics: the
concept of counseling, counseling theories, different strategies used in
counseling child and family (Counseling through play, through visual and
performance arts, psychodrama). The
course also includes the counseling theories (behavioral, cognitive, and Freud),
ways or strategies of intervention, how intervention is used and what are its
stages and advantages, and what are the cases that need intervention, ways of
family counseling, the problems that benefit from intervention (irritation,
social issues, learning difficulties, language problems), students also study
how to design an informative booklet for mothers and kindergarten teachers.
